But if I click to 'reopen' it doesn't open the file I originally attempted to open. Normally it will launch correctly after a couple trys. If I try to open a pdf it launches the programme then after a couple of seconds it shows a screen 'Problem Report for Acrobat' saying Acrobat quit unexpectedly. Had Acrobat X Pro for about 6 months, over last 3-4 months it's been crashing. New to forums so please excuse any non-adherence to protocol.
